Equity Investment for Tennessee Founders

theCO is proud to serve as an official Regional Entrepreneur Center partner for InvestTN, a $70 million equity investment fund powered by Launch Tennessee and funded through the U.S. Treasury's SSBCI program.

Is your business venture ready?

  • InvestTN is designed for founders with scalable, venture-backable businesses who are ready to grow and willing to secure matching private investment. Here's a quick breakdown of what that looks like.

    • Your business is located in Tennessee

    • You have a scalable business model built for growth

    • You're generating revenue, have a product or prototype, or have clear customer traction

    • You're ready to use an InvestTN commitment to attract matching investors

  • The Regional Seed Fund is where most West Tennessee founders start. It offers investments from $25,000 to $250,000 for early-stage startups connected to a regional entrepreneur center like theCO. That's us — and we're here to walk you through it.

The Growth Fund supports later-stage companies at Seed, Series A, and Series B with investments from $250,000 to $3 million.

  • For every dollar of InvestTN funding you receive, the goal is to attract $10 in private investment over the life of your company. InvestTN makes a conditional commitment you can use as leverage to bring other investors to the table.

Businesses involved in cannabis, gambling, lending-heavy activity, or speculative investments are not eligible.

  • That's what our founder fit check is for. Book a free conversation with theCO below and we'll help you figure it out.

Not sure if you're a fit? That's what we're here for.

A fit check is a free, no-pressure conversation with theCO to explore whether equity investment is the right next step for your business. We'll talk through where you are, where you're headed, and whether InvestTN makes sense for you.
