Simon Says: "Learn electronics and soldering at theCO!"

  • theCO 541 Wiley Parker Rd. Jackson United States

For this workshop we'll use a Learn to Solder Simon Says Kit, a great beginner's kit that will allow you to make a pretty awesome toy while learning electronics & soldering basics! All components are through-hole, making this kit an ideal starting place when you're learning to solder. You'll have a chance to solder a 28-pin microprocessor, LEDs, battery clips and more.

Saturday, June 13th 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

After the workshop, you'll leave with a soldering handbook, as well as a greater knowledge of through-hole soldering and the tools, techniques and terminology required to populate your own PCB prototype and of course-- your very own Simon game! You don't even need to have any prior electronic/soldering experience to participate. Minimum age to participate is 12.

Be sure to bring: a willingness to learn!

Please sign-up by June 5th so we can plan for your attendance.

Fee: $99*

*CO:Members will get a $5 discount when payment is processed
