STEM coding Workshops
Geared for students interested in creating something AWESOME.
The possibilities are endless with the Raspberry Pi micro computer. Interested in digitally composing music? Coding or wiring LED lights or just taking more selfies? From breadboards to circuit boards, students are invited for a day of fun as they learn everything they need to know to get the Raspberry Pi running right out of the box! These workshops give students a great taste of the power of coding and of our Dev Catalyst program.

Who are the workshops for?
Specifically middle and high school students -- grades 6th - 10th. No prior coding or electronic experience is necessary-- all we need is for students to be curious and ready to learn!
How does the program work?
Our STEM Coding Workshops are lead by our Educational Outreach Coordinator, Molly Plyler. In addition to having her master's in education, Molly has been certified as a Raspberry Pi Certified Educator by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. We offer the workshops in two models: one that is run through a middle or high school and one that is more of an open event for the community. Additional travel and staffing fees may apply. Here are details on each of them:
